Labour unrest over, city starts to reopen pools week of August 4

It’s finally starting to feel like summer. The weather is heating up and the strike is over – so let the celebrating begin.
One way Torontonians of all ages like to enjoy the weather is by splashing around in a pool.
The good news is all city pools and splash pads will reopen starting on August 4. For an exact schedule see list below.Splash Pads
Want to see pure joy in motion? Take a kid to a splash pad to burn off some extra energy on a hot day. The city’s 77 splash pads are set to reopen on August 4. Although some may take longer due to maintenance. They close again September 20.
A good place for kids to cool off and have fun is at the city’s 110 wading pools set to open again August 5. There may be some delayed openings due to required maintenance, according to the city. The close again September 6.
The city’s outdoor pools are expected to open sometime between Wednesday, August 5 and Saturday, August 8. Some openings may be delayed due to maintenance or operational issues, the city states. For a full list of outdoor pools and locations, visit the city’s site.
Perhaps you prefer to swim in a facility at a community centre? They start reopening August 5 with instructional programs in pools starting again the following day.
